Sweet Corn Rice

A simple and easy lunch box recipe.


Ingredients:

American Sweet Corn - 1/2 cup 
Cooked Rice  - 2 cups

Chillies - 3 to 4
Onion - 1 (med)
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1/2 tsp

Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
Cloves - 3
Cardamom - 2
Cinnamon - 1 inch piece
Oil - 2 tsp
Salt to taste




Method:

Boil the sweet corn in hot water. Once they turn soft keep them aside.

Take a pan and heat oil in it. Add cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon and cardamom. Saute for a minute. When they start releasing aroma, add chopped onion, chillies and ginger garlic paste.

Once the onion become transparent, add the cooked sweet corn and mix well. Add rice and cook for a minute. Add coriander powder and salt.

Serve hot. Happy cooking.. :)
