Tandoori Veg Platter

      Why go for a restaurant when you can make the same exotic starter at your home... Very easy to make with very less ingredients and low fat too. You can create it with just two to three vegetables or a whole bunch....


Ingredients:

Paneer - 100 gms
Potato - 1 large
Sweet potato - 1 small
Onion - 1 med size
Tomato - 1 medium size
Babycorn - 6 to 8
Capsicum - 1 small
Cauliflower - 8 to 10 pieces
Zucchini - 1/2 

For marination:

Curd (whisked) - 1 cup
Ginger paste - 1 tsp
Garlic paste - 1 tsp
Kasoori methi - 2 tsp
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Roasted gram flour - 2 tbsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil - 2 to 3 tsp


Method:

Cut all the vegetables in big chunks. Also cut paneer into pieces.

Boil little water and salt. Add the cauliflower and cook for 5 minutes to clean it. Strain it and put in a large bowl.

Boil potatoes, sweet potato and baby corn in water till they are 3/4 done. Strain them in put in the bowl.

Rest all the vegetables add it to the bowl raw.

Now add curd, chilli powder, salt, turmeric, ginger and garlic paste, garam masala, gram flour, kasoori methi and tsp of oil and mix well. Coat all the vegetables properly. 

Allow it to rest for 30 mins...

Now arrange them in the tandoor sticks and roast them on pan with little oil.

If you have oven then roast them in oven at 200°c for 30 to 40 mins based on the oven capacity.

Serve hot with some lemon wedges and pudina chutney...

A wholesome healthy evening snack loaded with vegetables with very less oil. Kids will love this and will ask you to make it again...
